how to setup house?

This idea suits for bachelors, well after a hectic week searching for house i landed in a good locality and a awesome house. This isn't furnished house, last sunday i been to market with a plan to buy a gas stove, I entered into one of the shop and started looking for a gas stove, it was bit expensive, about 5300/-(gas and stove). I was chatting with the shop keeper about the difficulty in getting the gas connection. He said that he can arrange for a cylinder and i have to go some foo location for refilling. It sounded like a illegal supply and questioned him about that, he asked me stranger question if i am from America, i said no. His next statement was "Everything that is illegal is legal in India". I felt like giving him a slap. People take it granted that they need to follow legal aspects if they are in India. wtf?. I request people to stop using illegal supply of LPG.

I moved out to a electronic shop and found a electric stove. It worked out to be much cheaper, for 1000 bugs i got a electric stove.



Now the question is about consuming more electricity not really. Using the stove for an hour consumes 1 unit which about Rs.3.50 worked about to be cheaper but the disadvantage is it take bit longer time to cook. (around 5 - 10 mins more than LPG).

College == Jail?

Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu





This is most of the case in almost all the Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. I studied in one among them(Kongu Engineering college, Perundurai, Tamil Nadu) and this college is also a victim of above ridiculous rules that you see in the video(not allowed to talk to opposite sex). I don't understand what these people are trying to achieve by these rules? paint a different picture for culture? This is not just the one ridiculous rules there are much more. Student are suppose to bring their parents one way of other for the reasons like unable to attend the class test or clear the test. If failed to do so they are restricted to enter the class or attend the lecture and at the end they will not be permitted to write the university exam. Students come from different part of the state, pretty hard to the parents to meet the lectures very frequently and listen to their filthy language. Do the colleges think they can produce quality engineers by doing all these? Is exams and marks are the only factor for knowledge?

All these college which are much concerned on so called culture and failed to provider quality education and good Engineers. All most 70% of the lectures find it hard to speak English fluently(this applies at least to the college i studied). My friend and me even happen to do our lecture P.H.D project(they doesn't know to code).

The worst part is child labor in a Education institution, yes can you believe this? children at the age between 7 - 12 are employed to work in the college hostels for wage of Rs.100 per month. Most of the college are run by politicians or big shots of religion, so taking legal steps will never work. Funny thing was once President kalam made a visit to Kongu Engineering college, occasions like this all these children are given handful of money to stay out of the college premises. Any step if students try to take they can very well see their name in the notice board that college has taken disciplinary action and suspended. Timenow has done a good job i would be very happy if they can do something about child labor as well. There are very few good college and all cannot join.

Message to students: Never expect the Engineering college to provide you good education or teach you technology, you have to make yourself.

That right there puts them above 99.99% of the other companies in the world. At any rate, you already knew all that so lets move on.

Now their is one more thing that is very interesting about Google employees financial lives. There are over 1,000 people working for Google who are worth OVER $5 MILLION DOLLARS! Even Google's former masseuse (did I mention employees get free massages) is a millionaire. Also, according to the New York Times, every employee that has been at Google for over a year is worth well over $250,000. Competing firms have said that Google alone has raised the average programmers salary by 50% over the last few year and with salaries and benefits like this I really don't doubt it.


I even dream sometime of working in google not just for the money but improve my knowledge to google's standard.
